Sgt contract almost done

Sgts will be voting on their new contracts. We'll see if it passes. Couple things I heard: changing minimum retirement age to 53; allowing you to collect 80% of your pay for pension after completing 31 yrs and a day of service but can only collect 75% till age 64 and then 80% thereafter; 2% raises for first 4 yrs and 1% for the 5th year; raising pension contributions from 9%/paycheck to 12%; changes in COLA so you only get it every other year.

So 2% raise - 3% increase to pension = -1% pay.

I take that last comment back, the pension increase from 9 to 12 % is spread out to year 2015. Still, selling out the fop.
