How to get out of a DUI

So if you get pulled over and you know you have been drinking and would fail the test, what do you do? I hear you shouldn't blow and other guys tell me it don't matter, you'll get an auto DUI then.

Never blow if you know you have been drinking. It's more evidence against you for court purposes.

Don't they later make you take a blood test?

Blood test only if you are hospitalized. If you refuse to blow, your license is automatically suspended, I think for 6 months. If you do blow and go over .08, I think your license is only suspended for 3 months automatically. I'll have to double check though.

I've heard of someone getting one after blowing .02

True, but it will be very difficult to hold up in court. .08 is just a guidline. If an officer feels that you are impaired even if under .08, they can still arrest you for d.u.i. You have to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to alcoholic substances.
